Entering into the Presence of God

Entering into the Presence of God

Psalms 100:4  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

While it is possible for a non-believer to enter a room (or church service) where the presence of the Lord is; they will not be able to have His presence inside them.

You might say, “Give us some suggestions how God can manifest Himself to me.”

First and foremost a person must be qualified with a Born Again Experience.

That means they must accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, Believe that He died on the cross for their sins, and confess with their mouth that they will serve Jesus all the days of their life.

To fully walk with Jesus, there must be another occurrence, an encounter with the Holy Spirit.

To seek for “More of God,” a believer must enter boldly into the Throne Room with clean hands.  Search your heart and ask God to remove all attitudes that are displeasing to Him.  Come before a Holy God in Holiness requesting that He Baptize you with His Holy Spirit.

The evidence will be speaking in other tongues.  You may simply open your mouth and allow words of praise to come forth not fearing how the words sound.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Begin to use your gift of tongues as a new prayer and praise language, by setting aside 15 minutes a day to use your new gift of other tongues in private.  Naturally in a crowd, pray under your breath, not making a spectacle of yourself.

When you find yourself driving, walking, shopping, resting, use these moments to pray in tongues.  In your spirit you will begin to know and understand what you are praying about.  Praise and worship might be coming forth, or it is possible that it will be interceding for a loved one.

Be aware of what is happening in your spirit as you pray.  Are you finding that there is a new Godly presence inside you that was not there before?

We go now to a different setting.

It is time for Church and when your feet hit the floor, begin to pray in tongues.  On the way to church keep praying in the Spirit, and when you arrive, allow the presence of God to permeate your very existence.

Be concerned for persons around you.  Pray for those you sense need a touch from God.

What new joy and delight you will begin to experience at church, take the presence of God with you out into your world.

Allow your daily activities to be infused with His Presence.

After you have grown in God, you will realize that 15 minutes is not enough time to spend praying in the Spirit.

Allow God to speak freely to you, and be open to listen to what is His will for your life.

"For I delivered unto you that which I also received -- how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures!"
Thank you for sharing the glorious gospel this morning!

Beautiful post, Hazel. There's nothing that can match the infilling of the Holy Ghost. It is life changing.
